Do I need a TekVPI power adapter part number 119-8726-00 (previous p/n was 119-7465-xx) for each probe I connect to my DPO2000/B and MSO2000/B series oscilloscope? How does the power adapter connect the oscilloscope?
Answer :
No. Only 1 power adapter is needed per oscilloscope. The power adapter provides 50 W of power which is sufficient to support any combination of compatible probes used on channels 1, 2, 3, 4 and aux in.
To connect the TekVPI power adapter, simply insert the power adapter connector into the receptacle labeled “Probe Power” located on the side of oscilloscope. To view an image of the of the power adapter and the “Probe Power” oscilloscope, please see the images provided at the following link:
