What High Voltage Differential Probe can I use on my spectrum analyzer?

Question :

What High Voltage Differential Probe can I use on my spectrum analyzer?

Answer :

The P5200 is a 25 MHz differential probe, for signals up to 1000V. It comes with its own wall transformer power supply. The probe is 50 Ohms back terminated, and the 50X and 500X attenuation factors are marked for 1MegOhm inputs. However, when it is connected to the 50 Ohm input of the spectrum analyzer, it has 2X more attenuation. The actual attenuation when used on the spectrum analyzer is 100X (40 dB) and 1000X (60 dB). Because the probe is DC coupled, a DC Block must be used between the P5200 and the spectrum analyzer input.
