What causes embedded audio to click or pop?

Question :

What causes embedded audio to click or pop?

Answer :

The most common cause of embedded audio clicks or pops come from the audio not being properly locked to the video. Check to make sure that your audio embedding device has a valid audio sync or DARS (digital audio reference signal) being fed to it, and that the video is also locked to a reference signal.
