Question : How can I display my network settings for my computer?

Answer:

The easiest method is to use the command window and type in a command that will display that information for you. This is a simple process that is listed below.

Windows 95

· Go to the command prompt by clicking on the start button, then select run. When the run window comes up, type in "command" the select OK. The MS-DOS prompt should now come up. At the prompt, type in "winipcfg" then hit the enter key.

· A window should now be displayed that has your network settings. There is a drop down box that will contain each network card that you have installed. Make sure you have selected the one that you will use to connect to the 2701.

Windows 98/ME/2000/XP

· Go to the command prompt by clicking on the start button, then select run. When the run window comes up, type in "command" the select OK. The command prompt should now come up. At the prompt, type in "ipconfig" then hit the enter key.

· In the command window, you should now see displayed the network settings for all of you installed network cards.
