How do I use "ping" to check my Oscilloscope’s Ethernet LAN connection is working correctly?
Answer :
In Windows 2000 or Windows XP click on Start select Run in the “Open: window” type cmd thenclick OK. At the prompt type ping<space><name or IP address> of the networked computer used to test the connection. Verify the scope sends / receives four packets then at the prompt type exit to close the command window.
