How can I invert the channel on the 5 or 6 series MSO?

The invert feature is not available in the channel menu.

The invert channel feature on the 5 or 6 series MSO is supported via the math channel.

Here is the setup procedure:

1)  Click on "Add New Math"

2)  Select the Math Type to "Advanced"

What is peak spikes detection on Model 2001 and 2002 DMMs?

Peak spikes feature on Model 2001 and 2002 DMMs captures voltage transients with pulse widths as short as a 1usec.

It can also measure the peaks of AC waveforms up to 1MHz.

Is it possible to establish a peer to peer ethernet connection on the 5 Series MSO?

Yes. To setup a peer to peer connection, you must manually configure the IP and subnet mask address on both the scope and your computer. You can then use an ethernet cable connected directly between the scope and computer.  This will work on the Linux and Windows version of the 5 Series MSO.

How can I tell if my 5 Series MSO is running on Windows?

There are three indicators to look for. A Windows scope will have the Applications menu at the top center of the screen and minimize/maximize/close buttons on the top right. In addition, if you tap at the bottom of the screen, the Windows Taskbar should appear.
